We've been blogging pretty regularly for a while and sharing pictures and stories about things we've done. I've definitely enjoyed blogging and I'm very glad we've been doing it. The only problem is that we've been so active doing things and taking pictures that it's been kind of time consuming to post about it all. We've ended up with a backlog of quite a few pictures that we haven't shared and posts that we want to write, but we haven't been able to stay caught up. We've spent several hours over the last few days to get caught up and are trying to figure out how to reduce the time it takes while still posting a lot. We joke about trying to stay inside next weekend so that we don't have so much to post about. I don't feel like it's an obligation, though, I like writing about everything. I used to have a personal blog for several years and enjoyed that, so I'm glad that now we have this blog to write on. I am looking forward to writing a lot and sharing pictures in the future.
We moved to Seattle in February 2008 and shared blog posts and photos during our first few years in Seattle.

I'd be fine with shorter posts, as long as the highlights are all hit. part of good writing is knowing how to be concise and un-wordy. but of course you still want to be descriptive enough to explain what you did and how you liked it.
if it's a question of shorter posts vs fewer posts, I'd definitely vote for shorter. it's great to open up your blog and have a new set of posts to read.
It's not just the writing that takes time though, it's messing with pictures and video. I don't even think the video works that well for my parents on their slow computer at home, so it's like what's the point of spending hours editing it and posting it?
Are you kidding? Troy make shorter posts? Hahaha
I'd be fine with fewer videos, too, before fewer posts. I like slice of life videos anyway, I'd rather see videos of you and troy cooking dinner or watching LOTR than videos of driving and mountains. but any video is good, I ain't looking a gift horse in the mouth.
The videos and pictures are especially time consuming. I think we've posted almost all of our videos for now, though. There are still some pictures we have. It's hard for me to resist the urge to take and post pictures.
