At one time not too long ago, I wanted to move to Portland instead of Seattle. While Portland is smaller, it has a better public transportation system, is more walkable in many ways, and seems to have more parks. However, after our visit in January, I I realized that Seattle appealed to me more since Seattle is a larger city. Still, I respect Portland and think it's a good place.
