Got a Mariners cap
Posted by Troy at 4:00 PM
I'm not much of a baseball fan, though taking road trips to several major league parks and watching more playoff baseball has helped me to enjoy the game a little more than I used to. Still, I don't think I'll ever be a passionate fan of any team. But, I do enjoy going to baseball games on occasion and rooting for the home team. Most of my life that meant going to the Ballpark and rooting for the Rangers, but now that I'm in Seattle, I'll root for the Mariners, I guess, even though they're terrible this year. Walking around town, I've noticed a lot of people in Mariners caps and I figured that since I'd be going to some games, I might as well get my own Mariners cap. The Mariners team store downtown had several options, but I found a fitted cap that I liked. It's the first fitted cap I've ever had, but I really like how it looks. If I ever live somewhere else, I'll probably adopt their home team, but for now I'll casually root for the Mariners, but more importantly, I'll enjoy my cap.

Except we won't ever be rooting for the Yankees, Red Sox, Rockies, Dodgers, or Braves... or any other teams I don't like. I don't anticipate moving to those cities though, so it shouldn't be a big issue.
I don't strongly agree or disagree with your decision.
When in Rome...
How can you grow up a Rangers fan in the mid nineties and not hate the Mariners? It is just insane.
I was just a casual fan, though. Half of the time I went to games I didn't even remember who won.
