Wild Blackberry Honey
Posted by Lesley at 6:40 PM
We recently ran out of honey, so we figured we'd go buy some more. Instead of buying it at Safeway or QFC, we went to Pike Place market and bought some honey made locally at the Snoqualmie Valley Honey Farm. They gave us samples at the stand and we decided to get the wild blackberry honey. It doesn't really taste like blackberries, they just call it that because that's the type of flower the bees collect nectar from. It's nice to buy stuff at Pike Place market because it's all locally made. Every time we go there I want to buy some fresh fruit, fish, or yummy pastries. Pike Place market is awesome and we are looking forward to eating our honey, perhaps on some biscuits tonight.
