The shifting sun
Posted by Troy at 4:00 PM
Since we're at such high latitudes, the position on the horizon where the sun sets shifts significantly between the seasons. In the middle of winter, it sets far south, behind the buildings in Belltown that we can see from our window. Yesterday, for the first time this year, the sun passed north of the Space Needle. It will keep setting farther north until, in the middle of summer, it will set behind the north part of Queen Anne Hill.

it'd be cool to somehow to a composite video of photographs of the setting sun throughout the year.
