Buildings are being demolished on Capitol Hill for the construction of the new light rail station. A few months ago, these storefronts were in use as a temporary art gallery. It's a shame to see these old buildings go down after they had contributed so well over the years to such a vibrant neighborhood. However, light rail definitely will be a good addition to the neighborhood.

I'm a big proponent of saving old buildings. But sometimes they have to go, and in this case at least it's not being destroyed for an office building or something useless like that. Light rail sounds like fun, although I don't know much about it.
