Recently we saw "Heritage Dr Pepper" at the grocery store, which is Dr Pepper made with real sugar. The can has a neat heritage design on it, with the old logo of 10, 2, and 4. The only place I knew before where you could get Dr Pepper with real sugar was at specialty grocery stores like Central Market because it is normally only bottled with real sugar in Dublin, TX
So we got a 12-pack of Dr Pepper with real sugar. I like the regular Dr Pepper with the corn syrup better myself, but apparently a lot of people like it with the real sugar for some reason. Anyway, I just thought it was neat that we could get Heritage Dr Pepper all the way up here in the Northwest. I don't think 12-packs like what we got are even available in Texas.
We moved to Seattle in February 2008 and shared blog posts and photos during our first few years in Seattle.

HEB is a sucky grocery store. It's like the only non-boutique grocery store in Austin, and it does not carry traditional Dr. Pepper. This is not a problem for me, I have other problems with HEB, but it's a problem for Karen.
Wow, that sucks they don't have it at all. I only have one Dr Pepper a day. I used to have more like 3 a day, but I tried to cut back because of the calories and caffeine. I've gone a week here and there without any, but it was difficult. I didn't know Karen liked Dr Pepper so much.
Hello - would you mind sharing which grocery store you were able to find the Dr. Pepper Heritage in here in Seattle? I just found out yesterday that this exists, and am on a mission. Google search led me to your blog. Thanks!
We got it at QFC. I assume it's still for sale.
