Persimmons are pretty popular in Japan, so I tried them there, but I wasn't a fan of them. I'm envious of your box, we might sign up for something similar.
We tried the treviso radicchio last night and it was really bitter. Neither of us liked it at all. But the green kale was good in our bean, tomato soup.
What is treviso radicchio? Is it like a radish?
It's basically purple lettuce. I'm sure you've had bits and pieces of it in salads before.
