Milk jug tops
Posted by Troy at 4:00 PM
One of the small differences I've noticed here is that all the milk jugs come with a cap that screws on instead of a cap that pops on. The pop-on style cap was the common kind of lid in Texas and the kind I prefer. It seems that there are more problems with this screw-on lid, including spills when pouring, and it also seems that more milk dries around the edge and sometimes falls off. I remember as a kid having some problems with the pop-top lid, but I think it's a better design overall and I miss it.

nice picture. yeah, my mom has been buying a kind of milk with a screw-cap lately, but I think I concur with your analysis. still, the screw cap is nicer aesthetically, so that counts for something.
Must be a slow news day. Milk jugs?
it's a lot better than dry hands.
Steven and I agree with you 100%. The pop top is far superior. Too much crusty dried milk around the screw-cap, and sometimes it falls into your coffee, which is super-gross.
