Seattle had a sad sports year. Mike Holmgren finished his 10 season tenure with the Seahawks, finishing just 4-12, one of the worst teams in the league. The Mariners only won 61 games compared to 101 losses. The Washington Huskies did not win a single college football game, while the Washington State Cougars went 2-11.
